Sea Star
A downloadable game
Need: A standard deck of 52 playing cards (jokers removed).
Sea Star is a new card solitaire. This PDF file explains the rules for how to play.
Build a single foundation using all 52 cards to win by pulling from the five "arms" of the sea star, but not before removing the clamshells which cover the foundation space. If you're lucky, you may even find a pearl.
Move exposed cards, create and move sequences, use the "flipping" mechanic, or "regenerate" the arms by dealing cards from the reserve pile to expand your options.

I recently had the opportunity to pick this up and give it a try. It’s a delightful game! I don’t think you spelled out if sequences can be moved to “empty” arms, but I play with this option and it makes the game just a little bit easier. Great way to spend 10-15 minutes, I’d say I win about 1/5 of the time, which feels satisfying enough. :)
Yeah in my ruleset, technically the only way to fill empty arms is by "regenerating" with 5 cards from the deck. I had thought about being able to move sequences to empty arms but decided against adding that for the extra challenge.
That said, house rules are always fine by me! (This game was pretty much born from me experimenting with the classic Klondike solitaire, in fact.) Come to think of it, there's a chance I might re-add that and a "magic shells" concept as optional ways of playing.
Anyway, thanks for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
